Board President

Gwen works for the Beaverkill Valley Land Trust, based in Lew Beach, NY, and has a background in non-profit administration, fundraising, project management, and sustainable construction.

Board Vice President

Clark is co-founder of Indie Mortgage, and a licensed mortgage loan officer who holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives and works in Livingston Manor, NY.

Board Treasurer

Bruce holds a Master of Science in Information Management, and has overseen dozens of projects throughout his career in real estate, maritime trade, the energy sector, and green home construction.

Board Secretary

Taylor works as a Program Manager for Catskill Mountainkeeper, our region’s leading environmental advocacy organization. She also has extensive experience with agriculture and food systems, having grown up on a sustainable poultry farm in Livingston Manor.

Jay is an author, and a contributing writer and former senior editor at Pitchfork. He splits his time between Brooklyn and Livingston Manor with his wife and son.

Linda C. Hartley is Principal of H2Growth Strategies LLC, a Livingston Manor-based consulting firm that partners with nonprofits to build leadership, increase support, and generate lasting social impact. H2Growth has worked with more than 100 nonprofits in New York, the United States, and Europe to raise over $1.5 billion through planning, fundraising and board building. She holds an MBA in Management from New York University. 

Dave is a lifetime resident of Livingston Manor, who grew up on a family dairy farm and subsequently went to work for the NYSDEC at the Catskill Fish Hatchery. Dave later transferred to NYSDOT and retired with 34 years of service. He currently serves as a volunteer fireman and runs a small landscaping business.

Alys is a Housing and Community Development Consultant with a Masters in Public Administration. She previously served as the City of Syracuse Housing Director, and she currently is based in Livingston Manor, and consults on housing and neighborhood planning, analysis and education.

Board Member

Brian is the Director of Facilities for The Zen Studies Society.  He currently resides in Livingston Manor, his family has lived in the Catskills since the early 1700’s.  

Rachael Yaeger is the co-founder of Human a design and technology studio with over a decade of work in the creative industry. Yaeger is also the co-owner of the Roscoe Motel and the Little Store in Roscoe, NY.    

Architectural Advisor

Caitlin is a partner at Cycle Architecture and the Chief Operating Officer of Cycle Retrotech, where she promotes new climate tech while improving people's experience with where they live and work. She is a Cooper Union Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture graduate, an Irma Weiss Fellow, and a Certified Passive House Designer (CPHD).
